"What is Prenatal Chiropractic Care and Why is it Important?"

What is it?

Prenatal Chiropractic Care is a specialized chiropractic adjustment, called the Webster Technique, that certified chiropractors can use to ensure that the mom's pelvis is aligned and moving properly, especially as baby grows and gets bigger. Prenatal Chiropractic care also allows us to do soft tissue work to help release the ligaments and muscles associated with the pelvis and pregnancy.

Why is it important?

Prenatal Chiropractic Care is important because when the pelvis is aligned and able to mechanically function properly, baby will have enough room to move around, which will aid in him or her getting into the optimal birthing position inside mama's womb!  Prenatal Chiropractic Care is also important because as mama gets further along in pregnancy, and ligaments start loosening and muscles start pulling simultaneously, getting consistent chiropractic care will ensure that the pelvis stays aligned so there is less low back and front pelvic pain/discomfort for mom!
